L and M Supply Geogrids by Tenax provide the flexibility needed for easy installation and the stiffness and junction strength to stay in place. Our Geogrids are an affordable alternative and a functionally equivalent equal to the Tensar BX1100 & BX1200. For more information or to request pricing,  please call 800-948-7870 or 912-534-6071 or use our contact form information.

Tenax Geogrids Offer:

Soil Stabilization

Geogridds are used in soft soil stabilization applications to help facilitate the more efficient and predictable stabilization of poor soils for future construction projects.

Tenax MS220 and MS330 geogrids are composed of two and three layers of high strength, extruded biaxially oriented polypropylene grid, respectively. The layers are designed to accomodate find-grained, cohesive and non-cohesive fills as well as small sized random fill.

Base Reinforcement

In base reinforcement applications such as paved or unpaved roads, geogrids are used to provide reinforcement and confinement to base course materials.

Stress Transfer Mechanisms

Multiple Layers - Because of the multiple layers, Tenax MS series geogrids provide a three dimensional separation effect not provided by any other geogrid. This effect keeps the fill material where it belongs. If the fill does get by the top layer, the other layers prevent any further micration.

Variable Apertures - The aperture geometry of Tenax multi-layered geogrids is purposely designed to be variable. This is done to increase the interaction and compatibility between the geogrid reinforcement and fill materials with wide ranges of particle size distribution.

Applications

Tenax MS220 and MS330 geogrids distribute applied loads over a greater area reducing vertical pressure on the subgrade. This allows for a longer design life compared with a similar unreinforced section. If designing for a specific lifetime, this allows for significant reductions in base course thickness.
